jessie and i are back with another song that we recorded for her dad. it’s Crying by Roy Orbison. we hit a snafu with our digital recording interface so its not everything we want, but we like it enough to share. our intention was to record more, but alas, our destiny is determined by some outsourced software developer.
We’ve got some Rupe&Conk tunes coming up for you all but first, hot off the press from christmas it’s our lil’ cousin, R-Dawg, bringing you some fresh R&B that you ain’t never heard! This is Hanna Montana meets T-Pain, ya dig?
Well, we’re back and going to attempt blogging again. Hopefully we’ll get you some killer updates soon… in between episodes of Doctor Who, that is. so stay tuned.
Well, its that time again, Jessie and I are releasing another track. I hope you enjoy listening as much as we enjoy making these songs. We’re on a mission to do this quarterly, if not more often.
The song we chose to record is “Once A Day” by Connie Smith. We decided to do this song while driving home from Bakersfield, California. The song came across the ol’ XM radio and it reminded Jessie of her family there and she said “We’ve got to do it!”. It reminded me of Texas. Bakersfield, if I dare say, is like the Texas of the West. And being a sucker for country music and steel guitar, we gave it a go.
So enjoy! We’re going to start recording another one in about 15 minutes! Yee Haw. I love listening to my wife sing. Again, enjoy.

Boiling hot, blue skies. It is mid January and we ran our air conditioner yesterday. sheesh! It is gross how hot southern california is right now. To all our friends and family in cooler (straight up cold) climates, DO NOT BE JEALOUS. Also, do not be jealous of my ability to tie in the title of my post to the content. . .
